Nvidia has reportedly spent over USD 900 million (roughly ₹8,000 crore) to acquire the leadership and team of Silicon Valley startup Enfabrica, including its founder-CEO Rochan Sankar, along with a licence to its proprietary AI networking technologies. Enfabrica works on solutions to interconnect very large numbers of AI chips (on the order of 100,000) without performance degradation, addressing a key bottleneck in scaling AI compute systems.
